  has worked as an occupational therapist with Kool Kidz, Inc since 2005. She receive her Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from Saint Francis University in Pennsylvania in 2003. After graduation, Katy worked in various pediatric settings including the clinic, early intervention (natural environment), as well as school-based setttings, in the Washington DC metro area, before relocating to Atlanta. She has a strong interest in sensory integration and has taken various courses for the pediatric population including Handwriting Without Tears, handling courses, and sensory integration courses. Katy is currently treating kidz in Marietta, Kennesaw and Cherokee county. Her favorite things about working with Kool Kidz are the flexibility in scheduling, the opportunity to provide treatment in the natural environment, and of course, the great families she has met through the years. When she is not working, she enjoys teaching dance (ballet, tap, jazz) at a local dance studio as well as dancing, hiking, visiting family and friends, and traveling. She lives in Cherokee county with her husband.
